We are delighted to offer Andreas Döllerer's fantastic cookbook "Cuisine Alpine" for sale in our shop. Here at the World Gourmet Society, we believe that Alpine Cuisine is one of the most underrated and undiscovered cuisines out there. Chanterelle Tartare with Egg, Pine Nuts and Nutmeg? Truffle Pork and Cauliflower? Chocolate, Beetroot and Raspberries dessert? We invite you to explore and learn more with this cookbook!

About the book: In this book, Andreas Döllerer acts as a culinary alpine guide, whether baking fennel in dough made from finely ground glacial polish, serving up a Salzburg scallop recipe, or quoting from the cuisine that he got to know high up on the alpine pastures at his grandmother's place. You will find over 70 easy-to-make-at-home recipes as well as some excellent wine suggestions. Photos of the dishes accompany each recipe and there are many wonderful images of the Alps and local environment to enjoy.

About the chef: Andreas Döllerer is one of the top chefs in Austria. Cuisine Alpine is his trademark. He works almost exclusively with ingredients from his network of suppliers in the Salzburg Alps, including vegetables from the gardens of the Tennengau region and fish from the nearby Bluntau Valley. Andreas Döllerer's restaurant Döllerer's Geniessrestaurant in Golling, Austria, has top ratings in all the major restaurant guides including 18 Gault Millau Points and 99 A La Carte Guide Points. He is chef of the year / winner of the Trophée Gourmet, a member of JRE and the World Gourmet Society. The Michelin Guide doesn't operate in Austria, but if it did it is clear he would be featured!
